Yin Yoga
Yin Yoga is suitable for all levels of practitioners. Yin is slow-paced and involves holding a pose for 3 to 6 minutes to target the deep connective tissues of the body: tendons, ligaments and fascia, rather than focusing on elongating muscle fiber.
Holding the poses for several minutes allows the body to soften and release improving flexibility and circulation, while cultivating stillness and inner awareness.
This class is ideal for those seeking a complementary practice to more active yang practices like Vinyasa, providing balance to your yoga practice.
